MedConsultHQ is recruiting for a prestigious healthcare client in Dubai, UAE, seeking an experienced Western-Trained Pulmonologist to join its medical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified specialist or consultant with recognised Western training and a strong background in diagnosing, treating, and managing respiratory and pulmonary conditions. The ideal candidate will be committed to clinical excellence, evidence-based medicine, and delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
The successful candidate will assess and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory disorders, develop individualised treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive pulmonary consultations, respiratory assessments, and clinical examinations.

Diagnose and manage respiratory conditions, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, interstitial lung diseases, and other pulmonary disorders.

Evaluate and manage patients with complex respiratory conditions and chronic lung diseases.

Interpret and assess pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and other relevant diagnostic investigations.

Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as bronchoscopy, where indicated and within the scope of clinical privileges.

Develop personalised treatment plans and monitor patients’ clinical progress.

Manage patients requiring long-term respiratory care and provide guidance on disease prevention and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborate with other medical specialists to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient management.

Maintain accurate medical records and comply with applicable clinical guidelines, patient safety standards, and UAE healthcare regulations.

Participate in clinical reviews and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
Recognised medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
Relevant postgraduate qualifications in Pulmonology, Respiratory Medicine, or an equivalent recognised specialty.
Western-trained medical professional with recognised specialist or consultant-level credentials.
Demonstrable clinical experience in managing a broad range of respiratory and pulmonary conditions.
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
Experience with relevant pulmonary diagnostic procedures and investigations is desirable.
Eligibility for the appropriate UAE healthcare professional licence, including a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) licence where applicable.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-management skills.
A commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
